Buttock augmentation with fat transfer, also known as a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), is an aesthetic procedure that increases volume, improves shape, and adds firmness to this area using the patient’s own fat rather than implants.
Fat is first removed through liposuction from areas such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs, purified, and then carefully injected into the buttocks to create natural, proportionate curves while also refining the surrounding body contour.

Does all of the transferred fat survive permanently?

How long is the recovery?
Sitting directly on the buttocks is discouraged for the first 2 weeks to protect the fat graft, and intense exercise is restricted for about 6 weeks.
